Chapter Six

The instant Melissa got out of the car, John scooped her up with a growl that made the hairs on the back of her neck stand straight up. She shivered and clung to him, seeking his comfort even though he’d spent the last hour tormenting her in the most delicious ways. He strode toward the cabin, carrying her as if she weighed nothing. “You look beautiful,” John said, unbuttoning his shirt to reveal a broad, tan chest. He removed the garment and tossed it aside, then crossed his arms over that gorgeous chest she couldn’t stop staring at. “You have two seconds to remove your dress, Melissa, or I’ll rip it off you.”

She gasped in air and fumbled to pull her dress off, clumsily drawing it over her head. She threw it to the floor and flushed as she met his dark gaze. An approving nod was his only response, and she felt her tummy flutter uncontrollably as he began unbuckling his belt. The thick leather length made her squirm. Would he punish her with the belt if she was especially naughty? Her bottom tingled at the thought, but those thoughts soon vanished at the sight of John removing his pants and boxers.
